I love this car very much. It's been in the family for over 10 years, and has held up quite well. I am most impressed with the apparent lack of wear and tear on the car. After 10 years, I barely see and rust, and nothing has really 'failed.' The Bose sound system is a really nice feature that has aged really well. The sound quality is still great. The car still drives really smoothly and quietly after all this time. I call her 'Marge.'
Story
I was driving home one afternoon from work in SoCal traffic. A car was driving dead next to me, and keeping pace with me. He started honking at me. I looked over, and he was holding up a laminated, printed sign that said "your driver's side tail light is out." So I imagine he drives around with a stack of these signs doing 'good deeds'! Ha!
Pros
The car still performs like nearly new. I like the color (candy apple red). I like that the seats fold down in the back. I like that the sound system is great. It's nice that you can do pseudo-manual shifting if you'd like, as well. The sunroof is also a plus. The gas tank is large, so you don't have to fill the tank up as often as with some cars. The car also has a timing chain instead of a timing belt, which is nice because you don't have to worry about replacing that.
Cons
The gas mileage on this car is not-so-good. I wish it were better. The other bummer is that the headliner has (finally) started to peel down, though that's fairly easy to fix. One of the lads in the clock has also finally started to flicker and perhaps fail. There is no AUX cable, but that's just because of the age of the car. 4 Cylinder.

My Mazda6 wagon has been a good car. I've had it for a number of years, and it is quickly approaching two hundred thousand miles and is still going strong. It has had some issues, but nothing that would not be expected from a car with its age. The engine still is peppy, and the overall condition of the car has been well maintained throughout its life. It has a nice look and an aggressive stance, and the V6 engine provides plenty of power for everything that I need from day to day.
Story
There have numerous fun trips with the kids with this car. It's hard to narrow down to a single good memory.
Pros
The power of the engine and the car's longevity have been great. It has a very nice look to it. The paint has held up well and continues to look nice. The storage capacity is good. The features of the car have been good, and the handling for a small station wagon is very good.
Cons
I wish the radio was easier to upgrade. Since it is built into the dash it is not easily replaced or added to. The drivers seat has taken quite a beating, and the metal structure of it is sticking through the seat material. There have been some mechanical issues with the exhaust system. It is not the most comfortable car. On long trips it is not unusual to have back pain and need a break from the seat.

My Mazda is really good for a single mom like myself. It’s great on gas, $20 a week usually gets me through. Also is really good in the snow with the right tires. I live in a climate where we sometimes have snow 6 months a year and I work 20 miles from home and this car gets me there and home with no problems. And for being 8 years old I haven’t really had any real problems, just normal wear and tear. The only thing I don’t really like is the fact that it has a button for Bluetooth but really doesn’t have Bluetooth. I have read the manual and I don’t have the option for it. Also the car is really low to the ground witch can create some issues when you live in a mountainous area. My bumper has already been fixed once and is cracked again. One really great thing however is there is a lot... (more)
Story
I let my 16 year old son drive for the first time on our road that is dirt and has no traffic.
Pros
Great on gas, good in snow, pretty reliable.
Cons
Low to the ground, buttons that don’t do what they say.
