2007 Mazda Mazda5 Owner Ratings & Reviews

2007 Mazda Mazda5 - This minivan is great.
I love this vehicle. It is comfortable for large and small individuals with the four bucket seats. I has tons of storage for hauling long and heavy items. It drives like it has a turbo under the engine and exhilarates fast. It is good long-term as I have over 100,000 miles on it. With the increase in gas prices to almost three dollars, it saves on gas. I usually on have to fill up once a month. So it is great in the gas market. Overall, I think this little van has really supported mine and my family's needs over the last seven years. From trips to San Diego, Los Angeles and a month-long road trip across AZ, NM, CO, WY, SD, UT and NV, it still it drives like it did driving it off the lot for the first time.
Story
Loading up the three grandkids, my daughter and going on a camping trip in the Hualapai mountains.
Pros
The space and comfort of my passengers (bucket seats x4). The stereo system is awesome. The miles to gallon are amazing for the amount of people I can put in this car and the price I payed was unbelievable. It has four bucket seats and two back seats. It is comfortable for the whole family, my adult daughter and my three grandsons. I garden and I have loaded a eight foot 4x8 wood and was still able to close the trunk. The sunroof is a nice touch as well, but the best part is it drives super fast when I hit the pedal. This car is still running great at over 113,000 miles. It also has many s... (more)
Cons
The only negative I have is the front passenger bucket seat does not have an armrest like the other bucket seats.
2007 Mazda Mazda5 - Mazda 5 Love
I have a Mazda 5 that I currently use for rideshare. What I like the most about it is that it's roomy. It has seating for five plus the driver and plenty of hidden storage space. In my line of work, one of the most important qualities of any car is the gas mileage. The Mazda 5 has decent gas mileage, sporting a 23+ MPG, (my experience, that is).
Story
My favorite memory is when I had a hole in the exhaust pipe. The car was incredibility loud, but it sounded like a race car. I was driving downtown through a winding tunnel, and the sound it made as I was navigating the twists and turns made me feel like I was really racing along.
Pros
It's roomy. It has decent gas mileage. It's sporty. It has decent pickup for being a minivan. It doesn't look like the typical minivan.
Cons
It's small. While it does have seating for six and great storage capacity, it can only hold six people or a lot of cargo, not both. It also suffers from the normal Mazda rust around the rear wheels. The tires are low-profile, so you have to be weary of potholes. Finally, it's not made for a 6'3" driver.
