I absolutely love my 2017 Lexus RX 450h. It was built for those who need an SUV space without the large SUV size. This car handles perfectly in all weather (sun, rain, snow, and ice). I have never felt more comfortable driving in the outdoors with a vehicle. It's perfect for adventuring with pets (the large trunk space allows for multiple large dogs), it's great for loading up an entire group of friends or family, and it is great for cross-country moving. The RX 450h is also a hybrid vehicle. It comes with multiple modes that allow you to switch between ECO and SPORT as needed. The switch is quick, but the vehicle maintains the smooth ride and quiet drive.
Story
I lived in a state where we had 20 inches of snow on the ground in April. The commute was difficult for many cars/vehicles; however, I was able to safely pass all other commuters and make my way through downtown when other vehicles could not. The seat warmers really helped to keep the vehicle temperature warm.
Pros
The vehicle has heated and cooled seats for every season and has a phenomenal sound system. The technology in this car is top of the line from the back-up camera to the aerial camera; this car has it all. The ability to switch modes quickly and efficiently is helpful when needing to preserve gas or kick it up a notch. The gas mileage is phenomenal - similar to a car but with more of an SUV build.
Cons
I don't have any negative things to say about this vehicle. From going to view the vehicle to the purchase of the vehicle - I can honestly say I have loved it and continue to love it.

2014 Lexus RX 450h - Lexus RX450h has some luxury details but not worth the price any longer.

We bought this car new in 2014 because we owned a previous version. Around 2014 was the time that most car manufacturers started adding advanced driving options - the only one that Lexus added was heads-up display (which I personally do not like nor do I use) and the side mirror indicator for someone in your blind spot. They were very behind in adding innovative features. Also, they make you pay yearly for updating the navigation system - which is absurd when Honda doesn't charge for updates for the first 5 years.
Story
I don't really have a memorable story related to this car - I actually don't love driving it except in bad weather.
Pros
Good for the environment, gets decent mileage - although it probably could be designed to get better mileage. Feels like a luxury vehicle when you're driving - has decent amount of cargo space and like the A/C under the seats.
Cons
Negative that you have to pay to have navigation updated each year - this is a total rip off, especially considering that this car costs more than $50,000! Also the A/C controls are not consistent on the driver's side and the passenger side - they are in a stupid place and aren't big enough.
