2004 Lexus RX 350 - Lexus Love
My Lexus was the favorite out of all the cars I've owned. It drove like a dream, and at that time the car had all the bells and whistles I liked. I had leather interior and a steering wheel warmer (which, for winters in Michigan was a complete luxury!). I'm not so great with remembering oil changes, and my local dealership was so amazed with me. They would flatbed my car, drop off a loner, and take it away for the day to complete maintenance. We even got in one fender bender with my Lexus, and I barely felt it at all. I always felt safe with my girls in the backseat.
Story
When we had this car, the Shrek soundtrack was out and my daughters just loved the music. I can remember in the summer, driving with the sunroof open, listening to the silly soundtrack up loud, dancing at red lights. I have fond memories of that time.
Pros
The Ease of drive, the look, and luxury feel.
Cons
It wasn't big enough when our family expanded.
2010 Lexus RX 350 - Lexus RX 350 is the bomb!
This is the best vehicle I've ever owned. It has tons of luxury and comfort features, is quiet while riding, and has very few maintenance issues. It is a mid-sized SUV and just a perfect size for women like me to drive, both for commuting and for long-distance road trips! It has plenty of horsepower for highway driving, but only a six-cylinder engine to improve gas mileage. What a wonderful SUV.
Story
It was so much fun taking our 100-pound dog on road trips in the Lexus. The rear seats can fold down to make so much more room in the hatchback, and our dog could stay there while still laying his head on the center console between us!
Pros
One of my favorite features of this RX350 is that the side mirrors automatically point down while the car is in reverse. Great for lining up within parking lines or avoiding obstacles. I also love the heated leather seats on cold days and the air-cooled seats on hot days. All rear-facing mirrors also automatically get darker when headlights shine on them, to avoid glare. Great feature!
Cons
The only negative design feature in this vehicle is that there should be more power and USB outlets. There is only one of each, which may not accommodate multiple phones/mobile devices.
