This is the best "bang for your buck" car I've purchased. Even though it's an older car, it still has a very classic look, not to mention it is also a sought after car. When I purchased it, everything was stock and the quality was great for its year. The drivetrain is really smooth and no cosmetic damages. It also comes with different modes offered by Lexus. To service the car does not cost much, and because it is a Toyota, everything can be done at a reasonable price. Mechanically nothing was wrong with it either. I've had the car for over a year and I have not had any majors issues to the car. The car is at over 180,000 miles and still running smoothly! There were some interior components that needed to be replaced due to normal wear and tear, but nothing too terrible. It also gets r... (more)
Story
Going up to the mountains during winter season. I took my car up on a snowboarding trip and it drove great. It made it up the mountain just fine with snow tires and the engine is super powerful to get up the mountain.
Pros
My favorite features are the body lines since it's nice an simple, as well as how it drives. Lexus really excelled on this particular engine and it runs buttery smooth!
Cons
The wear and tear of the interior seems very common and some parts were hard to track down due to the year and availability.

I absolutely love this car. It has not given me a single issue within the eight months that I have been driving it to work and back. I put roughly 25 miles on it everyday, and it takes it like a champ. The heat and A/C work great, the seat warmers keep my butt warm in the winter and the sporty-ness keeps driving fun. Lexus has always held a certain spot in my heart because of their attention to detail when they build automobiles. Everything feels solid and well put together regardless of the car's age.
Story
Since this car is RWD and has a good amount of pep in its step, it likes to get tail happy when driven hard. I catch myself sliding around my local town in the rain which can be loads of fun. However, I understand that this should be done at a race track and not public roads.
Pros
My favorite features of this car offers is the tip-tronic shifting modes, the seat warmers and the sound of the sporty inline six-cylinder motor. This motor also has a great deal of potential to make more horsepower if you are interested in doing so. The tightness and lack of body roll in cornering is also a great feeling when scooting around town.
Cons
The only real issue I have with my car is the gas mileage. Even though it is only a six cylinder, it runs through gas pretty quickly. It takes about $45 to fill it from a full tank, and that can be gone within roughly 200 miles. The automatic transmission also is lacking in terms of speed in between shifts sometimes.
