2007 Lexus IS 250 - Economic Luxury
I very much like that the vehicle is a 4 door sedan. It is white with dark tinted windows and chrome wheels, so it looks classy and sporty. It was well taken care of and had low miles for its year. Lexus is dependable and less expensive to maintain than comparable luxury brands such as BMW and Audi. I use it as my daily driver to work. I dislike that it is RWD instead of AWD and does not have navigation and backup camera.
Story
My dad works at a Chevrolet dealership but I didn't not have an interest in a Chevrolet. I had just started shopping for a new vehicle with Lexus being on my list of top choices, he sent me a picture of this vehicle right as it came in on trade. He brought it home for me that weekend to test drive and I was sold right away!
Pros
It looks good. It was well maintained by the previous owner. It has nice leather seats that will hold up better than cloth. I like the brand recognition and that it is a luxury brand. The bucket seats are nice. The pearl white paint is in good condition and was my first choice of colors. Heated and cooled seats. So far it has been very reliable with a low cost of ownership.
Cons
RWD does poorly in bad weather conditions. Not a fully loaded package with navigation and rear camera. Dash does not say current speed. Insurance increased.
