The car at times lags when it is accelerating off the line, so the driver has to account for this and not floor the throttle but instead ease into 2nd and 3rd gear before really pushing it.

The radio screen is not as backlit as I would like--especially at night. Since I've had the car a long time, I've had to do many repairs (as would be expected), so I'm not counting that against the car's durability. However. You cannot mention a GS300 without talking about the brake master cylinder. I had problems with this part since a month after purchasing this car. After researching forums, I've found that many other people have as well. Enough to the point where it probably should have been recalled. I've replaced this unit five years ago, and it's starting to give me problems again. This unit is not a simple fix--you can't buy just piece or part, but the entire brake cylinder. It is a pricey repair, so buyer beware. Also, when installing after market headlights, it is not a simple installation. With a lot of cars, you just take off a few bolts and the lights come out. With this car, you're going to have to remove the entire bumper in order to replace the headlights. The moonroof has also gotten stuck. The low pressure valve for recharging the A/C is also not easy to reach. I've had to make many repairs on this vehicle, but like I said, it has definitely stood the test of time, and still gives newer cars a run for their money.

The only thing that I do not like is that when I bought the car I got insurance on it and extra stuff and the price is a little more than what I would like to pay but I love this car and I would not give it up at all. I just wish that I would not have payed for all the extras so my payment would be lowered. I do wish it could be a little bit bigger as the family keeps growing and I am slowly running out of room expressly when I have everyone in the car and I go to the store, I have to watch what I get, because I know that I would not have the room for it and them. I sometimes have to go home and drop every one off just to go all the way back to the store to get the stuff that would not fit so I use more gas and my time to do it. I also wanted a different color and they did not have any in stock I know that's not the car but the dealership. I think they should have had other colors to choose from.
