2009 Lexus ES 350 - Amazing, high-quality vehicle
This car has a solid build and a luxurious interior. The air conditioned/cooled seats are amazing, especially since my car is black on black. This helps a lot with the summer heat on the hot leather. The cherry-wood trim on the dash and steering wheel against the black really stands out. The backseat area has a ton of legroom, as well as the trunk. Also, for being a girl, the actual keyless entry is great. I don't have to ever dig my keys out of my purse. I can approach my car and open/lock it by just touching the handle and since it's push-to-start, I don't even need my key out to start it. At night time, when I walk near my car, my car knows I'm near by and the mirrors/inside lights illuminate. Also, having harsh winters here in Chicago means the heated mirrors can a ton of use!
Story
At one merger near my house, I beat out some guy with his prized/babied Subaru STI and he was not very happy he got beat out by a blonde Barbie-looking young female in a family sedan. Although, this was probably just luck on my part :p
Pros
The ride is so smooth, it feels like you're riding on clouds...Bumps in the road are hardly even noticed. It's actually scary because on the highway, you don't realize how fast you're going since you can't feel it. 95+ Mph in a 65mph area? Whoops.
2009 Lexus ES 350 - Reliable
I bought this car used, when it was 9 years old, and everyone thought it was a brand new car. It looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. These cars were built to last. I have not had a single issue with it.
Story
I use the car to take my dog to the beach or the dog park. The back is big enough for him to stretch out and enjoy the ride.
Pros
My favorite thing about this car is how easy it is to get in and out of. My elderly father has problems getting in most cars, but says this one is the perfect height. Another favorite thing is the option to program the seat position for two drivers. I just get in and hit the button for my seat preferences, and the car automatically adjusts everything.
Cons
The car is a bit of a gas guzzler, and it has a relatively small tank. I feel like I'm at the gas station every couple of days.
