I really like my Kia Sportage. It's the first time I ever leased a car and the first time I had AWD. That was my main reason for getting a SUV, because I had previously only owned front wheel drive cars and I live in Buffalo where there is a lot of snow. Driving to and from work and school in small, unreliable cars was actually scary. I decided in the Fall of 2014 that I needed something that I could feel safe in when driving through the snow. I went to the dealership and test drove about five SUV's. I absolutely loved the Sportage because it's so easy to handle and is extremely reliable in the snow.
Story
Over the winter I drive down to go snowboarding every Sunday with my friends. I always use my car and it's fun to spend time talking and driving down and back with them.
Pros
The AWD is a huge plus and the steering on the Sportage is very easy to handle. The space inside is perfect, it's big enough to fit what you need without being huge. It also gets really good gas mileage and it drives really nicely. It's held up extremely well over the past two years and I've put over 20,000 miles on it. It is also the first car I've owned that has Bluetooth capabilities, which works really well. In order to get my payments down I was able to opt for less features inside but it is still very nice.
Cons
There aren't many cons I can think of. The only thing I can think of is that the cover under my engine barely scraped the ground once and cracked. Now has to be fixed.

This Sportage has four wheel drive, necessary for snowy winters in the north. It has 86,000 and is 6 years old. Still runs great. Plenty of room in the back for long trips, or short trips to the store. I have not needed to put any money into it except maintenance.
Story
We drove this car on the beach in the Outer Banks. Went right on the sand. Only four wheel drive cars were allowed.
Pros
It has 4WD, its good looking, it has a nice and spacious interior. It is also problem free and reliable, has traction control, satellite radio and drives great in poor weather.
Cons
It gives low to average gas mileage and goes through breaks quickly.

Every time I go, all the employees are very friendly, but they do not seem like they want to push a car down my throat. I can take my time and ask all the questions that I would like. If I want to look quick or get answers, I'm usually in and out. They usually can find good payment deals if you need it. They have great service and are willing to work with you!
