2011 Kia Soul - Reliable and Safe
I love my Kia. It is compact without feeling like a deathtrap. I have used this car for road trips, my daily commute and several moves and it has not ceased to live up to expectations. After a total loss car accident in 2011, I had used savings, a loan from relatives, and the insurance payout to purchase a car that would be safe, get decent gas mileage, and last me a long time. This car fit the bill perfectly.
Story
Drove my Kia Soul out to Eastern Oregon to visit the painted hills and fossil beds. Opened up the hatchback and ate a picnic while surveying the scenery. One of my all time favorite memories.
Pros
It is roomy, it has a great sound system, and very few mechanical problems.
Cons
Gas mileage is not GREAT but better than my previous vehicle. Also has a few blind spots with its boxy shape.
2014 Kia Soul - Convenient, clean, and modern.
It looks very modern and nice, yet is still affordable. It isn't a huge car, but it isn't too small to the point where it's cluttered either. It drives very smoothly, smoother then any car I've ever owned previously.
Story
Our family drove to the coast once in it; it was a very nice drive there and drive back. The scenery was amazing, and we had a great time. A perfect car for the trip.
Pros
Perfect size, smooth driving, modern interior and exterior.
Cons
A bit too small for a four-door car. I don't know if it's just my Soul, but the breaks are slightly delayed.
