2015 Kia Soul - Love this car.
We bought our Soul with the thought of not having a lot of trunk space. We were severely wrong! The bottom portion of our trunk opens up into a removable tray that makes loading and unloading a cinch! The back seat fits three people comfortably, where as my Jeep could not. All of their models come equipped with XM radio that you are able to get free for about three months if I'm not mistaken. The ride is excellent, and it gets great gas mileage for a SUV. I also love the fact that I can control everything from my steering wheel, including my Bluetooth. The hands free calling also makes me feel a lot safer, as I don't ever have to take my eyes off the road in order to call someone, or to change a station.
Story
When my son was very small he loved 50s rock and roll, thankfully our XM radio has a 50s station, and it would put him right to sleep every time.

2016 Kia Soul - My Soul has heart
I love my Kia Soul. It's by no means a perfect car or a dream car, but it is something trustworthy and affordable to drive every day. Even after putting thousands of miles on it so far and taking it on multiple family vacations, I have not had any issues with it. The ride is smooth and comfortable, the base model does not feel "cheap" by any means, and the Bluetooth connectivity is a great feature for hands-free phone and music. Probably the best car overall that I've owned thus far.
Story
Flipping down the seats and taking our five dogs for a day at the lake. The interior was tough enough to not take any damage, and the upholstery was easy to clean after. This is definitely a great family car if you're just starting out.
Pros
Wonderful vehicle. Very affordable, safe, reliable, and cute too! Favorite feature is the built-in Bluetooth.
Cons
At times, the car has its little quirks and noises, which the dealership told us are characteristic of inexpensively made cars, but it has not affected the vehicle's performance at all.

2008 Kia Sorento - Kia Autosport Columbus
They are a hit and miss with their customer service, but the buying process was fairly easy. Their mechanics are excellent, too.
