We selected the Kia Sorrento because it offered third-row seats, which were a must have for our growing family. It has been a great and reliable car thus far getting us from point A to point B with no incidents.
Story
One of the first trips that we took was a long (week and a half) road trip with our kids. We had the car packed to the gills, a cargo box on top, and four bikes on a rack on the back. The car looked like it was going to topple over, but it was a workhorse and performed like a champ.
Pros
I love the third-row seating when we have to use it. When it's not in use, it turns into ample storage space for when we go camping, on vacation, or moving items around town. I also have fallen in love with the SiriusXM satellite radio that was activated as a free trial when we purchased.
Cons
I was excited to see that the Sorrento offered roof bars for a cargo box on the top, but I was disappointed to find out that I would need to purchase the cross bars separately so that I could attach the box.
