This has been one my favorite cars I have ever owned. It has been affordable to drive and also a pleasure to drive. It is roomy and the fold-down third row seat makes for added seating when the cargo area is not in use. Lots of features for the price. Maintenance has been affordable and the car has been very reliable. I would recommend a Kia to anyone who asked my opinion.
Story
Oh my! This car has been a on many family road trips and vacations! There are to many stories to tell just one.
Pros
Love the color! The gas mileage is good and the car has been extremely reliable. No major repairs except general maintenance. Fun to drive and handles well. Leather seats are easy to clean and maintain. Easy to replace the air filter in it which saves money by doing it myself. Exterior paint and chrome finish has helped very well. Third row seat is a life saver and when it is folded down makes for lots of storage in the cargo area.
Cons
Could get better gas mileage. The fabric on the interior ceiling has not held up as well as should be expected. The Bluetooth does not sync fast enough with the phone. The plastic portions of the interior do crack easily. The levers to release the seats to fold down do stick from time to time. Carpet is hard to vacuum. Things stick to the carpet badly, like crumbs.

Overall, I have been very pleased with my Kia Sorento. It has been a very reliable vehicle. We have experienced no issues with any aspect of the car. It drives well with no problems. All the interior systems work well: heat, air conditioning, seat motion, etc. We have had it serviced regularly (i.e. oil changes, tire rotations, etc.) and have had no unexpected problems. There was a recall due to a problem with the fuel tank, I believe, and my car came through the check-up with flying colors. The service department has been phenomenal. Even though we bought the car in another city, my husband always takes it back to the original dealer for routine maintenance.
Story
I love driving my car up and down the parkway along the river. The storage area in the back leaves lots of room for carrying sporting equipment, picnic lunches, etc.
Pros
Since I am not an expert in mechanical systems, I love that the car is reliable and consistent. It looks attractive, and there is so much interior room even though it does not look like a "big vehicle" from the outside. The seats are comfortable, and the ride is smooth.
Cons
The only negative is that it is too easy to change the interior lighting system. I am always pushing the wrong buttons, and then I have no interior lights the next time I get in the car. I have had some trouble with the Bluetooth system as well, but I am not sure if that is the car or my phone.
