2009 Kia Rio5 - Small and cramped.

We liked the style of the car it was a used car when we bought it but it ran well and had a good fuel economy. Also since we have a young child the crash and safety rating was important to us. Looked like a good car at the time.

Story

Mostly we hate this car and wish we never got it.

Pros

Well it gets about 30 MPG in the city and 33 on the highway. I has Airbags and side curtain airbags as well. The interior looked nice and sporty. And the Engine has a good amount of power( as can be expected from a small 4 cylinder engine). We also liked the fact that the rear seats laydown for more trunk space.

Cons

Well here is where is goes down hill. The car is small it is not made for anyone who is over 6 feet tall. I feel like I have to wedge myself in and I am a skinny guy. My knees knock the dash while I am driving if there is anyone riding in the back. When no one is riding in the back I have to push the seat all the way back and its still not enough. The Brakes are sup-par and wear out fast. The tires are undersized and even on a dry road can easily lockup causing you to skid.

2009 Kia Rio5 - Good starter car.

I love the car for an easy back and forth commuter car. This is car is very helpful when it comes to going from Point A to Point B. This car is this cute little silver hatchback that has black trim. This car is very durable and the pieces are easily replaceable.

Story

I have driven all over the East Coast with my car. It has been to Florida, Pennsylvania, and to New York.

Pros

I love that the car is easier to maintain than a lot of cars. I can do a lot of the maintenance myself instead of paying additional money for a mechanic to do it. I also love the sound system as well as the SIRIUS radio free trial. This is a great selling feature.

Cons

I hate the car does not have a cruise control button which would be super helpful for long distance trips. I also would like to have in the car a better air conditioner or heater. The heater takes more than 3 minutes to heat up and the air conditioner that doesn't cool down the entire car without the fan blowing all the way on the section 4.
