You get a lot for your money with this car compared to other brands. I haven't had an issue with this car since I bought it. The only money I've spent is just on maintenance. It is very low to the ground so it can scratch on things easily. This car drives very smooth. All cars come with a bug guard on the front of the car. The insurance is also very low because the crash test rating is so good. I feel safe in my car.
Story
We were in the Hyvee parking lot when it had just snowed. The ice was starting to come down, too. It froze on contact to the cement so we took my Kia and skid around the parking lot. It was, of course, empty with no other cars around except for a few. I didn't feel I was going to topple over because the car is so low to the ground. Pros
The style looks like a Lexus. Cheap car, looks good, and good warranty. It is much smoother than a Jeep. You get a lot more for your money than you would with a Jeep. It has excellent customer service.
Cons
The tires are poor quality and they need to be replaced after 30K miles. The fuel economy gets worse as the car gets older. It scratches easy.

Optima has been a reliable car thus far. I purchased this car ~3 years ago with low miles. It's been good on gas; averages around 30 mpg highway. It rides well for being a medium size car, comfortable seats with heated and cooled features. Dual climate control makes it nice. The back seats could be a tad wider, since it's very tight with a car-seat and having two adults riding in the back.

Cons
Paint came off the front bumper when I took it through the car wash (the front bumper was in mint condition before wash) Back seat is not wide enough (compared to competitor's medium sized car)
