The pain has a sparkly undertone, so any dirt is extremely visible. Also, the front bumper has very limited ground clearance, so there is always the chance that slight bumps will bottom out the car, leaving scrapes on the bumper. Additionally, the Optima's wealth of features can be overwhelming. It takes quite a bit of time to learn, and become accustomed to, all of the buttons and controls for the various functions. I have also found that the touch screen can be slow to respond when using it. It often produces a lag when typing an address into the navigation system, or dialing a phone number when connected to a phone via Bluetooth. Finally, the braking leaves something to be desired. The car does not seem to stop as quickly as it should for a sport-tuned vehicle. The brakes require a fair amount of pressure to stop in a short distance.
