2008 Kia Optima - This car is very reliable. It does not take much to fill it up.
I like the miles per gallon for this car. It is very affordable for me. It performs very well. My car is now ten years old, and I have had little to no problems with it.
Story
Taking my car to many road trips to the beach and cross-country trips. This car always gets my family where we need to go. I keep it super clean, and it has served many great trips for us. I remember driving it across country to Louisiana. I was so scared to be driving alone, but my car performed well and didn't scare me at all.
Pros
My car has automatic window for the driver door, which is very convenient. Also, it has a back windshield defroster.
Cons
I wish my car was a little bit newer. I am 100% certain that this car is even more amazing the newer it gets.
2011 Kia Optima - Quality car for the price
It has been a good quality car for the price. We have not had any major issues, and when we do have regular maintenance completed, the price is extremely reasonable. The car has performed well. We have taken it on several vacations. The trunk is large enough to put my infant daughter's supplies (stroller, diaper bag, portable high chair, etc.) and our luggage. It also handles very well for day-to-day transportation.
Story
My wife and I brought our daughter home from the hospital in this car. I'm not sure how that memory will ever be topped.
Pros
The gas mileage on the car is great. It gets around 32 miles per gallon on the highway. With me traveling about 30 miles to work this is a huge pro for our family. I like that the car is compatible with Sirius XM radio. It's nice to be able to listen to local channels, but then switch to satellite when I need a change.
Cons
The biggest complaint I have about this vehicle is the road noise. When you are driving, there are times when it sounds like their is a window down in the car. There isn't. It is just the sound from the road traveling through the car. My wife has a different brand of a full-size sedan, and this is not an issue for her. I do wish that I would have splurged for the leather model with more features. The cloth seats get dirty very easily, and it would be nice to have heated seats and dual controls.

The salesman was not overly pushy. We got to brig the car home for 24 hours to determine if we really liked it. They are letting me come back to get the car detailed, (because we bought the car at the closing of the business day when the detailers already left). The dealership was clean and professional. There was a lot of inventory to choose from.
