We originally purchased this vehicle because the cost was low, and the dealership was offering a lot for our trade in. I wish we would have gotten something else. The engine needed to be fully replaced at 80,000 miles. The A/C went out at 90,000. The alternator went at 100,000. This car has been nothing but a money pit.
Story
We brought our son home in this vehicle. My husband drove like a little old lady from the hospital. The car has an excellent safety rating and tons of safety rewards, but that didn't stop us from being extra cautious with out new bundle of joy!
Pros
Low cost. Great family car. Lots of room. Good gas mileage.
Cons
Poor engine quality. Poor A/C quality.

I really like my 2013 Kia Forte...it is a tightly-made vehicle and it shows with the control and handling of the car. It's small, but it has some zip to it while maintaining great gas mileage.
Pros
The car looks and runs great --- it's something that I'm not ashamed to drive and it's fun to drive. The interior is quiet, it has enough power for anything you need to do on a day-to-day basis, and the gas mileage is excellent even in the city. Overall, it a low-maintenance, high value vehicle.
Cons
One of the primary negative things about the Forte, and KIA in general, is the public perception that their cars are poorly made or of lesser quality than their competitors. The cost of the vehicle was great, but the resale value is predictably low.

What was good about the dealership is that they were able to work with me to finalize the paperwork as quickly as possible because I was in a rush since my co signer had to leave the upcoming Monday. What I didn't like about this was the cost to get my car looked at when she was falling apart (air bags not working and wheel barren went out even the transmission went out, which I had to fight them to get me a rental as I still needed a way to get to work) also the warranty on the car wasn't shown in the price this made it 2,000 more than the original price and thank goodness I got since the transmission went out a year after I bought the car. Overall I wouldn't got back to this dealership as they are sexist and try to charge me extra just to get my car looked at.

Nothing really. Bad customer service!! No one returns phone calls, no one can answer questions. It's like once they have your money they are done with you.
