Used Jeep Wrangler for Sale in Sewanee, TN

This summer we took the Jeep on its first off road trip down Parson's Branch road in Cades Cove. This is a backcountry park road that is limited to 4x4 traffic only and it is only lightly maintained. It has numerous creek crosses which are paved. Most people that have done this would tell you that it should be no chore at all for a real 4x4 to handle, however we happened to take the trip after 4 days of pouring rain. It was the first sunny day we had so we decided to give it a go. I will have to say I had some trepidation at the first crossing, we even measured it and it was swiftly flowing at just under a foot deep. The Jeep tackled it as if it wasn't there. We dashed through the next crossings getting wet a few times from the large splashed until coming near the end of the trail and meeting the deepest crossing. We measured it at nearly 2 feet, but it was not flowing as swiftly. The Jeep still cut through it like it was nothing. I had been in water crossings like this in a truck and remember the rear feeling like it was going to break away in the water. This vehicle was a little beast and I look forward to taking it off-road more and more as it gets some age on it.
