I absolutely love my Jeep Wrangler Sahara and have found it to be a very solid vehicle. Because it rides higher than cars, it provides greater visibility, as do the fog lights for even clearer night driving. My Jeep is a 4-wheel drive, which means weather has little effect on where I can go whenever I want. I have had no problems with the soft top leaking or any rattling vehicle parts. I really enjoy its handling and maneuvering with a tight turning radius allowing me to park in restrictive spaces. Because it’s a Jeep, parking is not limited to typical parking spots. You can make your own on occasion! Its ability to manage a variety of terrains allows me to almost create vacations out of any travel destinations. This vehicle has been nearly as fun to drive as a race car I once owned, m... (more)
Story
I frequently use offroad areas to bypass traffic on right turns, which is quite fun! I am able to run through a ditch to make a u-turn rather than searching for an appropriate turn-around spot for any other vehicle. There has been no one single memorable story, but many stories. The one that most predominantly comes to mind was pulling over to take a picture of my Jeep at its 100k 'birthday'. ... (more)
Pros
My Jeep Wrangler Sahara has many positives even though it does not have some of the more modern ‘bells and whistles’. I appreciate that the manufacturer installed an excellent factory speaker system. Expanding the existing stereo system is also quite simple. Because it’s a Jeep, everything in it is water sealed. Jeeps are known for all of the great items that can be added or removed making them vehicles that are tailor made for their drivers. This, in turn, results in a personalization and identification with ‘your’ Jeep. As a Jeep owner, you become a part of an elite club of fun and adven... (more)
Cons
There are very few negatives about owning a Jeep, although a primary one would be its gas mileage. Although improvements may have been made by now, my Jeep typically gets 20 miles per gallon or less which makes it somewhat more expensive to drive. However, once you own a Jeep, one really no longer cares about gas prices because of the enjoyment and feeling of freedom that they provide. Because so many aftermarket parts are available, it is difficult to own a Jeep without wanting to spend exorbitant amounts of money on those extras and one may tend to become unhappy with things that they do... 2011 Jeep Wrangler - Sturdy as you'd expect from a Jeep Wrangler.

There are many great things about my 2011 Jeep Wrangler Sahara, but the best thing is its durability. I've driven it well over 80,000 miles with regular scheduled oil changes and maintenance, and it has yet to need a major repair. The biggest issue that it's had was a seal failure causing it to leak some brake fluid. This was fairly easily fixed. It's trusty and reliable. I am generally a fan of Jeep Wranglers, because they can go through snow, don't flinch when they hit a pothole, and just generally deal with a lot of annoyances that might stop or damage other cars. The biggest minuses of this Jeep for me is that the 2011 model year had, in my opinion, a boring color selection and that this Sahara model is a bit wider than the last Wrangler I had which caused me to scrape the bum... Story
I often use my Jeep to transport my cats from one of my houses to another. I think the most cats I've been able to fit in the Wrangler in carriers has been seven. You could probably get it up to nine if a couple of the cats were kittens.
Pros
The Jeep is very reliable. I haven't had to do any major repairs to it, just scheduled maintenance and the occasional less major repair (seal replacement, windshield replacement/ repair). The power steering handles pretty easily, but the car still has the feel of a sturdy small truck. This car can go through potholes easily without worries about damaging the car on rough roads. It also performs well off road when I need to do that. I don't have to worry about getting stuck in the mud when I go to some outdoor event and park on wet grass/ mud.
Cons
The body is a bit on the wide side without providing more cargo area inside. I had a hard time maneuvering a wider Jeep at first, causing me to scrape the paint on the bumpers several times. When the cargo area is full, it's hard to get the rear door properly shut. Also, the rear cargo compartment has developed some annoying rattles in the side panels over time. I'm not crazy about the color of the car. The 2011 model year did not have interesting color selections, unlike the years after that when they went back to offering Jeeps in bright green and yellow. The metallic orange color I h... (more)
