One of the drawbacks is the aerodynamics. It's basically a box on wheels and therefore can be a bit harsh on the mpg. It also lacks power steering, so sometimes on those slow turns, it can be a bit of a workout. It doesn't have A/C, and there is not much protection from cold weather, aside from the heater since there is no inside panels to help keep warmth in.

The gas it takes to drive to school and work is just ridiculous. I probably spend 500 dollars a month at the gas pump. I feel like I'm polluting the environment, so our next vehicle is going to be more eco friendly. It also could use a little more power going up hills. You really have to give it gas to keep your speed up. Any repairs are fairly costly and the tires cost twice what tires for a small vehicle would. There are blind spots that are horrible and it's easy to hit someone if you don't know where they are. I also hate the leather seats in the summer if you wear shorts or a skirt. I burned the back of my legs-i mean like went to the hospital bad on the seats once.
