Wranglers are built for off-road capability, which is exactly why I bought it. While it does require more maintenance due to me being hard on it, the parts are relatively inexpensive and you can upgrade easily. The vehicle drove exceptionally well for one with its mileage and age. Once upgraded, it drove a little more rough but that is to be expected when modifications are made.
Story
I met my husband because I got myself stuck in a mud hole. He pulled me out in his Jeep. Two years later we are married with a little one on the way!
Pros
My favorite features would be four wheel drive, removing the top, removing the doors, and the drain plugs in case any water gets in the vehicle. I love the off-road capability and that it is basically built for the outdoors. I can out wheel many others in different vehicles due to the capability of my Jeep.
Cons
The top negative things about this vehicle would be how easy it is to get "death wobble" and the difficulty of pinpointing where the issue is coming from. I had to replace many different parts before figuring out the issue. The fact that it is only two doors has made it inconvenient for car seats and family rides, but I wasn't planning for a family at the time that I was buying it.

I love the off-roading capabilities. It's a great vehicle to take camping and to take in the winter as it has four wheel drive. It works well with my stepson's car seat and has great audio features. I love being able to remove the doors and top easily, in case of good/bad weather. Parts are easy to replace and upgrade as well.
Story
Always fun to take camping. We go to a spot near town with an "eternal flame"
Pros
My favorite things are the off-roading capabilities, excellent safety ratings, tow package, ability to remove doors and top of the vehicle. The four wheel drive is excellent to have in the winter. The size is perfect. I have all the perks of an SUV but it is not too large for me to drive. I also love having a tow package.
Cons
The cost to repair is a little high. The gas mileage is quite low. In order to do performance upgrades, it takes a lot of extra work (i.e. I put a lift on the vehicle and got death wobble so I had to buy a lot of extra parts.) It can be loud to drive with a soft top.

Robin and Frank were fantastic salespeople and got me taken care of while I was at work. I was only at the dealer for maybe an hour.
