2016 Jeep Wrangler Owner Ratings & Reviews

2016 Jeep Wrangler - It's like you have 2 vehicles for the price of one!
I have wanted a Jeep Wrangler since I was a child because I loved the way they look, and they always looked fun to drive. I traded my old vehicle in for my Jeep a couple years ago. I like how rugged and well-built it is. It feels solid, especially when you take it off-road. It's not as smooth during normal city driving, but during the winter and when the roads get slick and icy, having the ability to put it in 4-wheel drive makes all the difference in the world! I feel much safer and secure driving my Jeep when the roads are treacherous. Jeeps, as a general rule, don't tempt you to drive faster than the posted speed limit, and my insurance premiums are about 40% less than they were in my previous vehicle, so that is a bonus! I am not very happy with the Bluetooth connectivity of my Jee... (more)
Story
I took my Jeep and drove it on some off-road Jeep trails in southwestern Colorado a couple months ago. I've never been on real off-road trails, where the "road" is a dirt & rock trail, and there is only room for one vehicle to travel. I crawled over some smaller rocks, but just the feeling that I can take my Jeep pretty much anywhere is an empowering feeling!
Pros
4-wheel drive capability, flip-over back seat for more cargo space, holds resale value over time, extremely fun to drive, very well-built, vehicle is more visible to other drivers on the road, tons of after-market parts available.
Cons
Bluetooth connectivity could be better. Sound system could be better.
2016 Jeep Wrangler - Great party car
I bought a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. It was one of the best vehicles I have purchased for the environment that I live in. As an example, I live in and around the beach for six months out of the year. If you live near a beach and don't own a Jeep, then you don't know what you are missing. The vehicle operates great in all types of terrains as well and can really take a beating. Overall, it is a great vehicle to own.
Story
We took it out to Ocean City for a weekend with no doors and roof. It was an awesome experience.
Pros
The pros are fairly straightforward. You can take the doors off, you can take the roof off, and you can size up the tires to have the ultimate experience around town with your friends. Additionally, the Jeep is a superior vehicle to own if you like to go off roading in a variety of different terrains. This is because of the 4x4 drive train I have in mine. One of the best things you can purchase for a Jeep if you own one.
Cons
While I love my Jeep, I have to admit there are a few negative things about the vehicle that even I have to admit to. For starters, the tires wear out fairly quickly and are not, by any means, cheap to replace at all. New tires will cost you. Additionally, I purchased the car as more of a weekend cruiser, not for commuting purposes. Anyone who needs a commuting vehicle, should think carefully before purchasing a Jeep, because it is not a commuter vehicle.
