The 2015 Jeep Wrangler Freedom edition is a sturdy and dependable vehicle. No rattling, interior or exterior problems. The interior stays clean and doesn't attract dust. The doors and windows can be removed for a fun beach day but can also stay on a rainy day or for everyday driving. It is a smooth ride and good on gas. I can get 30 miles to the gallon and that is great for an SUV. The back seat folds down for storage and the truck is big enough to store boogie boards and all your beach goodies. The seats are very comfortable and there is a lot of room. There is a blue tooth device that allows one to connect to a mobile device. The only thing I do not like is that it is tough to get my kids into the back seat since it is a 2 door vehicle. This is a car for a person who is single or ju... (more)

I initially researched the Wrangler because I wanted a relatively simple vehicle that could be taken out on the beach in the summer. I used to do this with my parents as a kid and wanted to get back to it a bit. Living in the north, I also deal with extremely snowy and brutal winters each year, and figured the four-wheel drive would be an asset in those conditions as well. Thus far, the Wrangler has met all my expectations in that area. I have taken it out on the beach several times, and it has proven extremely valuable in the mud and during blizzards. The Wrangler's reliability (three years and 44k miles, at the time of t... (more)
Story
In summer 2015, taking it out on the beach for the first time. This was the first time I had been off roading on the beach since I was a kid.
Pros
Classic looks, powerful V6 engine, very capable 4x4, likeability, the Jeep wave, and the resale value.
Cons
Gas mileage. Tiny trunk with the back seat up. High price tag.
