Overall my Jeep Wrangler is great. The manual transmission is performing admirably after about 100,000 miles. The gas mileage is better than anticipated, averaging about 15 miles city and up to 21 highway. The power is exactly what I want out of a Jeep. The ability to switch from the soft-top to a convertible is a wonderful function. Most of the parts of the Jeep are still working quite well, what flaws are present are due to a mixture of poor road conditions (too many potholes) and improper use by the original owner of the vehicle. The ability to remove the back seat gives my dog more than enough room to run around during road trips as well. This Jeep is great for people who want to get outdoors and explore. The 4x4 capability means no road or weather is going to leave you stranded. H... (more)
Story
Driving around Michigan during the summer with the top down is a wonderful experience. Whether you are driving down a country road being able to smell the fresh pine trees or people gawking at your wonderful ride as you cruise down main street.
Pros
The best two aspects of this vehicle are the 4x4 capability and the convertible soft top. The Jeep is built for off-road performance. Not only does the added ground clearance make tough roads easy, it also makes it very easy to work on. The undercarriage of the car is protect by three different skid plates to ensure no issues if you hit a stray rock. The soft top convertible feature is very nice even if it is noisy. The top is easily raised and lowered by one person, however is does take a bit longer than most convertibles. Additionally, the top can be raised while still having the side an... (more)
Cons
My biggest issue with the Jeep Wrangler would be cargo space. The 2-door version allows for you to seat up to four people. However the two people in the back have very little space. If there is any need for cargo while the back seat is in the locked position there is only about 20 cubic foot of space for storage. While the rocker seat is a nicer function and can increase room in a pinch, the seat still takes up a large amount of space. Once the seat is removed it does add additional space, however this means that only one additional passenger may ride along. The Jeep is great for flexibili... (more)

The fun begins with the Jeep wrangler. Since owning this vehicle, I've taken it on road trips and off road many times. It is hands down the funnest vehicle I've ever owned. In the warm days of summer you can take the top down and take the doors off. It's very well built and is ready for the trails right off the assembly line. I have put over 100k miles on it and there are no rattles/shakes or odd noises as if it were poorly manufactured. Also, I'm a windsurfer and am able to put my sails, boards and gear on the roll bars, my wife and I have also taken the kayak on the roof. One thing that I never thought would matter to me is the ability to plug my iPhone into the auxiliary jack and listen to my music through the stereo. The interior is also very comfortable, not at all like the old ... (more)
Story
My wife and I went on one of the local trails and when we got to the top of the trail, the view was simply astounding! We got there in the Jeep, no other vehicle would have been able to go.
Pros
The pros of the Jeep wrangler are just its sold history of manufacturing and design. I've taken my Jeep on some very challenging off-road experiences and have always felt completely confident in its ability to keep me safe, get me where I'm going and have fun while doing it. No joke, I have even slept out overnight in the Jeep then gone hunting the next morning, and I was quite comfortable. Another pro is just the overall ride comfort, you would think that a Jeep would be a stiff ride or bouncy, it's very comfortable and smooth, I've had people with me off road and even on some of the roug... Cons
There are very few cons about the Jeep wrangler. One of the biggest is gas mileage, it only gets about 17 Mpg city, 22 Mpg highway. Another con is the rear window zipper is very tough to close, it may need a more heavy duty zipper.
