A Jeep Wrangler is the Lego of cars. There are thousands of options to upgrade and customize. We love the ability to personalize, the on and off road abilities and the very close Jeeper community. Jeeps are a lifestyle if you really love them. If you are not in love with the tangled hair and random soaking when you have the doors off, buy something else. These are quality vehicles, made to be customized and personalized to your hearts content. Hence the phrase Just Empty Every Pocket. It is addictive to upgrade and play...and expensive.
Story
Wheeling on the weekends. In DFW, we have several off-road parks. You can count on Jeepers from all over the area being there and sharing in the Jeep community spirit.
Pros
We love to be able to go anywhere on the road. Being able to take off the doors and feel like part of nature is awesome! Our children will have wonderful memories of our family spending time together doing things. The ability to customize is so far beyond any other vehicle and makes every Jeep truly unique. If you upgrade enough, I promise it also gets plenty of attention and you are remembered. Our Jeeps have names, and that's awesome too. As far as the mechanics, it is great stock if you are not doing any serious off-roading, but if you do, then the options are unlimited to give you the ... (more)
Cons
This is hard. Having a Jeep is a love/hate thing too. You love it and all that you can do, but you hate that it doesn't get great gas mileage and that you spend every spare penny on it (but mind you this is an addiction to upgrades). Keep in mind that a Wrangler owner views the world like this, "your kids will never remember that time you got 36 MPG." So while the cons are money related, they are never a holdup for a Jeeper.

When my husband and I saw this car and drove it at the dealership we knew right away this was the car we wanted to purchase. It had plenty of leg room as well as enough seating for our family. We purchased the car in 2008. The color is ocean mist and changes slightly with bright sun to a bright blue and more gray on a cloudy day.
Story
Our family has made many trips back and forth from Georgia to Florida in this vehicle and we always enjoy our trips together because there is plenty of room for us all.
Pros
My favorite feature of this vehicle is that OnStar is available. It is comforting knowing that help is just a button away and if we are in a serious crash that they will contact us to see if we need help. It also came with XM radio that we purchased at the beginning but have not kept up due to finances.
Cons
I didn't have any negative issues with this vehicle until this last year when the steering has started going into manual mode. Many of the Saturn Outlooks have been recalled due to this issue but our VIN is not included in the recall. There are times when I am scared to drive it for fear of being in or causing a serious wreck.
