I love the quality of a Jeep. I previously owned a Compass before this and have been impressed with the upgrade. From the quality of the wheels to the addition of perks such as built in flash lights, I have loved driving this Jeep since day one. Being that the Jeep is a 4 cylinder, I certainly feel like it lacks that "get up and go" that I would prefer. I love the alloy rims. They take a beaten and still look like the first day I bought them. With front and side air bags, I feel completely safe when my daughter and I are in the Jeep. It offers spacious headroom seeing as though I'm 6'1. I currently have 30,000 miles on it and have not experienced a single issue. With it.
Story
My daughter and I took our first road trip in this car. We spent a total of 6 hours straight in it and loved every minute.
Pros
Spacious headroom for someone tall like myself. Front and side air bags offer safety for my daughter and I. Alloy rims take a beaten and look flawless. Added perks such as built in flash lights and outlets for chargers.
Cons
It being a four cylinder, it doesn't have the "get up" and go that I would prefer. It doesn't offer the "manliness" that a Wrangler shows. It sits slightly lower to the ground than I would prefer.

The car was reasonably priced. I enjoy the simple design and smooth ride of the vehicle. It is surprisingly roomy for a small SUV. Despite the lack of automatic seats, a backup camera, or other modern features, I find the car enjoyable. The seats are fabric but nice. The rear compartment is roomy, and the doors are study but light.
Story
I work for a college and it was fun for my students to notice me in a new car.
Pros
My favorite features of the car are the price, the smooth ride, and satellite radio. Getting a brand new SUV for under $15,000 felt great. The ride in this car is surprising smooth. I suppose in a Jeep I expected a rougher ride (like a Wrangler), but it drives like a sedan. Satellite radio is a nice feature I had not considered, but it is really great when driving through rural Oklahoma to not have to worry about a station cutting out.
Cons
My former car was a Buick Encore and while it was older, it had some features that are lacking in the Patriot. I miss having a backup camera, for example. The thermostat in the Patriot has one adjustment setting. There is no option to have a different temperature in different parts of the vehicle. There are no power seats either.
