2013 Jeep Patriot - Quality Vehicle
I have a base model 2013 Jeep Patriot - manual locks, cloth seats, and a stick shift. I got the base so I don't have a car payment. The A/C and heater work quickly to change the temperature of the car.
Story
Not a good choice is you want a fancy vehicle, but dependable and nice overall for the price. What is fun to me about this car is that it is paid for because it was priced reasonably.
Pros
Also, I like the higher profile of this car versus a standard vehicle with this vehicle. No true complaints for this vehicle. It is responsive and drives well. I also like the way that the car won't roll back for 3-4 seconds when taking off on a hill.
Cons
I purchased the extended maintenance plan so basic maintenance is included. I purchased in Washington state and I had no issues with this dealership understanding the warranty. When I moved to Georgia, I had difficulty with the first two Chrysler dealerships I spoke with. However, the third dealership I called was reputable and recognized the contract. I have had service there with no issues.
2014 Jeep Patriot - Reliable and economical vehicle
I have the base model for the Jeep Patriot. I like the gas savings with the stick shift and the ability to downshift when I need more power for passing or to avoid bad drivers. The price of the new Patriot made it a great alternative to buying a used car.
Story
I drove the Jeep across country and it performed well. 11 states in 4 days.
Pros
The Jeep is fun to drive. I like the folding back seat which allows me to put large items in effortlessly. The Jeep sits up higher than a standard vehicle which helps in traffic situations and is good for overall safety.
Cons
My only suggestion would be for the Jeep's back window/door to not have so much tension, and therefore make it easier to close. When my hands are full with packages, it is sometimes difficult to reach up with enough power to shut the door.
