Jeep Liberty Owner Ratings & Reviews
Write a Review
1993 Jeep Liberty - I am satisfied overall with my vehicle.
I like that my Jeep has four doors and four wheel drive. I can fit my kids, my dog and my groceries, but it's not too big. I like how I can lay the back seats down if I need more room. I have never had trouble starting it, even in below zero temperatures. And it handles well in the snow.
Story
I don't really have any fun or memorable stories using my vehicle around my location. Unless you count the one time my son vomited all over himself in the back seat, two blocks from home.
Pros
Four wheel drive is definitely a good thing where l live, and my Jeep is not too big, so I don't have trouble maneuvering in the snow. I also like having enough room for my kids, my dog, and my groceries.
Cons
I have had trouble with the window mechanisms, so I have had to replace them several times on multiple doors. I also don't like how the window buttons are on the back of the console between the seats. And I also don't like that the cup holders are in the doors in the back seat. If there's a drink in the door when you shut it, your drink spills. Also, it is hard to clean between the back seats.
2006 Jeep Liberty - Jeep Is Worth It
My vehicle was originally a company car that I bought from my aunt when the company decided to let employees buy the company cars from them. It's roomier than I thought having used it to move from various places over the years. I have had two recalls on the car but neither were very serious.
Story
My dog jumped out the open back window into traffic. He was unharmed but it took me three hours to catch him. I found him in the back of barbecue joint parking lot being fed scraps by kitchen staff.
Pros
The size and the four wheel drive are my favorite features of the car.
Cons
The last recall was actually a bit scary. If someone accidentally rear ends me my car will supposedly explode into flames. So. There's that.
