2005 Jeep Liberty - Buy a Jeep, they are great.
I love everything about my Jeep. I bought it used ten years ago, and it has been the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. I have done my regular maintenance and have never had to do any major repairs even though its been quite awhile since it rolled over 100,000 miles. The four-wheel drive is awesome in snowy Ohio winters.
Story
Packing for a long camping trip with my three boys. We took so much with us that the kids had to put their pillows and sleeping bags on their laps and they all fell asleep in the back even though they are teenagers. It reminded me of when they were toddlers always falling asleep in the car.
Pros
It drives like a toy, it's so easy to maneuver. You are up high enough to see all the trucks around you. It has good pickup for being a smaller engine. It fits two car seats and a booster in the back. There is plenty of room to pack for a trip or camping for a family.
Cons
There are not enough electrical ports. It's hard to get everyone's phone charging on long trips with the kids because of that. The seats are not the comfiest.
2003 Jeep Liberty - Jeep Liberty
I love SUV's so I was happy that I had finally got it. I do not like that it rusts so easily. I also don't like that my car is a very popular vehicle to steal, which I didn't know until I had purchased it. Other than that the performance was excellent at first but then it seemed like everything that could go wrong, did from my ball joints to my A/C condenser.
Pros
I loved that it is great on gas, I think $30-35 would fill my tank. I love that it has a CD player. The backseats also let down for more storage.
Cons
This vehicle is a very popular and easy vehicle to steal as mine was! It rusts easily.
