This is one of my most favorite vehicles. Since the first day I saw it I fell in love with it and have loved it ever since. It looks like a Hummer and it is a well respected vehicle among automotive enthusiasts. Everyday I look forward to getting into my car to run about my daily life. It has never disappointed me for the 3 years that I have been driving it. There is a lot to love about this car. First of all, it is a four wheel SUV. The four wheel functions very well especially in snow or heavy rain. While you drive in these conditions you feel safe because you know you are less likely to get stuck. It is a heavier car and not easily swayed back and forth, it would hold up well in an accident too. It is also possible to switch the four wheel into two wheel drive when you need to, ther... (more)
Story
Driving in the snow the first winter I bought this vehicle was a delight. I was not scared to drive on ice as I would have been in my old car.
Pros
Good four wheel drive Can change to two wheel manually Handles well in rain and snow Does not consume a lot of gas Simple but at the same time looks expensive
Cons
Not very bright headlights Turning range not wide enough Handles poorly while turning

This is a great vehicle for every day use. It can handle all sorts of terrain and weather of any season. I feel safe when driving myself, friends, and family various distances and the ride is enjoyable. It's a bit outdated by now, but it does everything a reliable car should. As long as it is getting me from A to be, it is hard to ask for more than that.
Story
I once had to transport a box spring 50 miles with the car. It was a mess having to tie it to the top. My whole family was trying to secure it and my boyfriend had to follow me for the entire drive to make sure all was good. I remember turning up the radio as loud as I could to block the noise from the windows that were cracked due to the rope. It was a crazy trip but the car made it possible.
Pros
The four wheel drive is a great thing to have when snow is a concern for half of the year. The trunk is spacious and the back seats collapse, making it excellent for transporting a lot of boxes and furniture for a college student like myself who is always moving from place to place. The automatic windows are easy to reach and the sunroof is a great plus to have on those beautiful summer days.
Cons
I wish this was a little more up to date. With only a CD player rather than an AUX input or even a cassette player makes listening to an iPod or other device impossible. I also go through gas much more quickly than I have with past vehicles, but that is to be expected with a car of this size. It is not the smoothest ride I've ever had either, but I have adjusted.

2007 Jeep Liberty - It's a good car, but a few things could be added

I really like the Jeep Liberty. It is not too big, nor is it too small. The back seats fold down if you want to put something big in the back, which is great. There is plenty of trunk space, as well. The Jeep Liberty drives great, and the four wheel drive works awesome. My Liberty came with a tow package, which is a huge benefit, so I can haul a trailer or even a small camper to go to family events. I do not hesitate to have my kiddos in the jeep, as it is safe and high up off the ground. The key it came with opens the back door for you if your hands are full, and you have the option to open just the top part or the gate, too. Now there are some things I didn't like such as the recall because the placement of the gas tank. If I get rear ended, it could cause an explosion. I also didn't... (more)
Story
I got stuck in the mud during a good spring in Maine, thought I was going to need a tow then realized if I get stuck a tow truck will. But the four wheel drive works great! I love driving right on the beach to park and listen to music while watching the sky and knowing I wont get stuck.
Pros
The amount of storage in the Liberty is tremendous, and the towing package accommodations allows for more storage, which is great for family trips and events. I also love the four wheel drive knowing that I will never get stuck in Maine, and the power of the Jeep is amazing. Cheap parts, too!
Cons
There is no transmission dip stick to check fluid is the biggest negative thing I can think of, because dealerships want me to go to them to pay them to check it. Makes no sense. The other thing is the placement of the gas tank. If I get rear ended it could be serious and cause an explosion. There was a recall for it to put a tow package to help these results.
