2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Jeep love!
I have driven this car for over 10 years now and it has performed better than I could have ever imagined. It has been a great and reliable car (knock on wood) and it just keeps going. I live in an area where we get a lot of freezing temperatures in the winter and desert like temps in the summer, but it keeps up with either environment no problem. I love that I can go offloading with it if I need to, and I love the room in the back where I can store items for long road trips or just to help someone move. In the 10+ years I have owned this Jeep, I have had very little maintenance until recently. But it is at over 160K miles and been through a lot. All in all, I love this car and recommend it to anyone who is looking for an SUV that is fun to drive and doesn't suck down a ton of fuel.
Pros
The most positive things I see in it is the 4 wheel drive that I can use when it is snowing or when I want to go off-roading. That is a must-have.
I also love the look and style of the Jeep, and it handles really nice on the roads and off.
Cons
It doesn't have the best fuel mileage, but it is not terrible
The brakes/rotors on this model are notorious for wearing out easily.
The automatic door locks seem to go bad rather easily. I have had to change them out more often than I would have liked to.
