I bought this Jeep worried about the reliability of Jeep and was pleased instead with the power, driving experience, interior design and features. Even better two years later I've had no issues just the expected maintenance.
Story
My husband can squeeze this Jeep with a camper in tow into the tightest camp spots, spots I couldn't even see driving a sedan into!
Pros
I love the size. It's small enough outside to zip around, but inside I can cart groceries and all my dogs. The V8 is super fun as the car will flat out zoom. The interior has held up really well, and it looks new inside, the seats are comfy. After owning for a year, I discover the towing capacity is actually way more than I thought. We bought a small camper we tow with it. The Jeep handles the camper with grace up and down mountains no problem.
Cons
The only cons were ones I expected: the V8 is a gas guzzler.

2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Solid, but not super high quality.

I liked the 4WD capability for use on unpaved roads. I disliked the poor gas mileage. Overall it was a smooth and comfortable ride on the highway with sufficient power to overtake slower moving vehicles. The cabin did tend to get noisy at higher speeds. After 10+ years of service, the suspension parts seemed to be worn out and the ride quality was sometimes jarring and excessively bouncy when driven on bad roads.
Story
I took some out of state visitors up a rugged mountain road to view some excellent Fall foliage one year. it was a perfect afternoon that would not have been possible if not for the off-road capacity of my vehicle.
Pros
I liked the roomy interior and comfortable seats.
Cons
Fuel economy was poor. 20 mpg even on easy highway driving was about the most it could manage.
