1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Love this car
Let me start off by saying I am a Jeep guy and I will own nothing else anymore. My first was a 90 Jeep wrangler, then I got a 95 Cherokee Sport, and it got totaled I got a 98 Grand Cherokee. And when that 98 got hit I got this 97 Grand Cherokee. Both accidents I was in I would have been killed in any other car. I got my mom a Cherokee too and she ran the thing for 2 years with a bad oil pump and it still ran fine other than knocking really loud. She also over heated her's so bad the engine seized up and after it cooled off it started right back up.
Story
I use to go driving through the woods with a friend and my family. there is nothing greater then spending the day jeeping around the woods driving through lakes and over trees
Pros
These Jeeps are extremely reliable
They will get you though anything no matter how deep the snow or water the jeep has no problem. They are extremely comfortable.
The are really safe.
Cons
The gas mileage on them is horrible 18 mpg at best
The 4.0 engine while its unstoppable it is a really loud engine
The grand Cherokee has a ton of electric issues
You have to put a trailer hitch on it other wise it can explode from a rear end crash
2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Makes driving more FUN!
I have been in love since the first day I went home with my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit. This car has absolutely everything I could ever want in a vehicle and then some. The interior is the perfect shade of soft baseball glove brown leather that stays looking clean months after it's been cleaned. It drives and rides smooth and sturdy. It has enough horse power to get up and go when I need it to but remains easy to control. The touchscreen display is very user friendly and easy to navigate through. The DVD package with two flip up screens in the back head rests was an added feature that my son really likes for long trips. The full panoramic moon roof/sun roof is so cool! The only complaint I have about the whole vehicle is the red color shows every spec of dirt and dust. Th... (more)
Story
When I first bought my car, I went and picked up my son in it from school, and he was so shocked that he didn't believe I actually bought it. We rode home with the sunroof back, and I let him blast some of his favorite songs on the surround sound; he loved it.

Cons
The maroon red color shows dirt. Expensive. Not great gas mileage. Requires synthetic oil. Requires min 98 grade gasoline.

2015 Jeep Patriot - Pine Belt Chrysler Jeep Lakewood
The service was great at this dealership. The gentlemen helping me out got me out of the hole with my trade in, which was worth less than what I owed, and got me into a brand new Jeep Patriot. My parents went back a few months later and purchased a brand new Jeep Cherokee because they were so impressed with this dealership. Two thumbs up!
