2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Great car
I don't like that it doesn't have a third row. I have three kids and the three row was almost a deal breaker to me. We can never have friends with us.
Story
Driving it on a road trip with my husband across the country and my dog. The car is very roomy, and it was comfortable on the trip.
Pros
It has a nice interior and it's very comfortable.
Cons
No third row. Not that great on gas mileage.
1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee - a mediocre vehicle
I believe that for the most part, the Jeep Grand Cherokee performs the way it should, at least, it did when it was a newer vehicle. Wear and tear and age has really taken a toll on it, however. It is still standing, but a lot of money has had to go into it to keep it that way.
Pros
My favorite features would have to be the size. I believe the size of the Jeep is practical. Cars are often too small and big trucks are huge and take up too much gas. The Jeep has room for transporting things, like if you're moving, but it is not horrible on gas like a truck would be.
Cons
My top negative thing would be the electrical system. I've had to put the Jeep in for maintenance many times because of its electrical system and the failures it has. I've spent up of $750 and it still likes to freak out if its cold out. I start it in the morning when its cold and it likes to beep, keep the inside lights on, and honk for a few minutes. It's just poorly designed.
