We purchased the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited new. This is our fourth Grand Cherokee, so weÕve been happy with this very capable luxury SUV. The Jeep Grand Cherokee is the flagship model for the iconic Jeep brand. The standard 3.6 liter V6 is powerful with 295 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 260 lb.-ft of torque at 4,800 rpm. Fuel economy isnÕt bad at 19 mpg city and 26 mpg at highway (2WD), and 18 mpg city and 25 mpg highway (4WD). The Limited has many creature comfort features, to include leather, 8.4Ó Uconnect infotainment system, heated and power-operated front seats, heated steering wheel, auto-dimming rearview mirror, rearview camera with backup sensors, 18-inch wheels, and power everything. It also has plenty of cargo space at 36.3 cubic feet behind the rear seats, and an addit... (more)
Story
Most memorable experience was taking the Jeep on vacation last year to Ocean City. It was a comfortable eight-hour road trip.
Pros
We were most impressed with the power and fuel economy, particularly as compared with the previous generation Jeep Grand Cherokee. As mentioned above, the standard 3.6- liter V6 has 295 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft of torque. Fuel economy is 19/26 mpg (2WD) and 18/25 mpg (4WD).
Cons
This is tough as we havenÕt had any issues. I would say that the leather seats could be better. We experienced some wear on the side bolsters, but this is mostly due to sliding out due to the height of the Jeep.

I love the look of the Grand Cherokee. It is edgy, sleek, and sophisticated without being snobby or pretentious like a Range Rover might be perceived. I like that this SUV has V6 engine and you can feel this fact in the acceleration. Alternatively, I also like that it has green, fuel saving features such as an auto off trigger when you are stopped completely at a red light but not in park. The fuel economy is reasonable for the power that it provides.
Story
I took this car off road on some local desert trails, and it performed really well. I was on rocky and sandy roads, and the handling performed as you would expect with the Jeep name!
Pros
The pros of this car are that I got a great deal on the vehicle, I paid $22,000 for the car that had ~50,000 miles on it. The trim has a lot of desirable features such as leather seats, Navigation system, an 8.5 inch touchscreen, a five-inch instrument cluster LED screen, heated and cooled seats, heated steering wheel, and a back-up camera with proximity sensors. One pro that I particularly enjoy is that there is a flashlight built into the trunk that you can remove at night or in a low lighting emergency to see better. I work late at night so often times if I need to dig in my trunk for s... (more)
Cons
One of the few cons I can think of is that some of the interior build quality can feel cheap, such as the turn indicator knob fees very plasticky and is not a high end finish. Likewise, the sideview mirrors are rather large and bulky.
