It does not live up to the original review that the company said. It has had more than 13 recall problems and things tend to just keep going wrong with it, electrical and otherwise.
Story
My husband and I put a concrete Bambi in the back seat and drove around town, mainly to see peoples reactions when they noticed it staring at them out the window
Pros
It is a good vehicle as far as room and when you need to haul things. I like the fact that it has a six cd changer and well as a volume control on the steering wheel.
Cons
It does however have horrible gas mileage in the city, it also has many problems (recalls), after having it for four years it has started to make a rattling noise under the hood that no one can figure out. If something goes wrong with it, parts are extremely expensive.

I purchased an early model Grand Cherokee after a complete style overhaul. It had the 5.7L Hemi V8 and Quadra Drive II 4x4. I love the style, the color and all the options. The backseat is a little cramped for an adult, but fine for kids. I liked the degree of personalization this vehicle had to offer. Coming off the line it is hemi power all the way! I'm surprised I didn't crash it. This beast has an amazing amount of torque and is super fun to drive. I can go anywhere I want to go.
Story
We were in Oklahoma and it had been raining for days. The roads were 8" thick mud but we needed to get out of the house. The Grand performed like a beast and we were sliding through the slick clay while everyone else was stuck at home. A guy driving a F150 had slid off the road and we offered him a tow. He eyed the Jeep doubtfully but it pulled him out with no problem.
Pros
The style is great, even when the vehicle was 10 years old, it still looked like a late-model sub. I liked that it didn't look cookie cutter like all the other SUVs on the market. I really liked that it had memory settings for two drivers. That way my husband and I could adjust it to fit with the press of a button.
Cons
I really loved this vehicle, but I had a lot of problems with the 4x4 system. I spent upwards of $3000 over two years of ownership repairing different parts of it. The car is supposed to have automatic valve shutoff, so when you are cruising it turns off four of the cylinders and saves you gas. It seemed to work at first and then stopped working and my gas mileage went from about 20 highway/14 city to about 14 highway/10 city. For off-road enthusiasts you can't fit a very big tire in. 255/65R17 is about as big as you can go. This will give you about.75" more than stock, but also throws off... (more)
