I have paid so many repairs on the wheels of the car within the first 4 years of ownership. Whether it was tie rod ends, or rotors, or brakes, or new catalytic converters, exhaust pipe. The car did not do well for the winter because the whole thing underneath is all rusted. I bought the car new in 2007 and now 8 years later it is not going to survive another 2 years I will not repair it any longer.

Good gas mileage, 28 miles to the gallon. Great speakers.

The 2007 Jeep Compass is a good, reliable vehicle. I liked the leather interior, heated from seats, sun roof, great sound system, large trunk space, and the reliability. The sun roof has a cover so if it is too sunny you can hide it and keep the interior cooler. The heater and air conditioner also work great. The dashboard also lets the driver know when tires are low or when you need to change the oil. It also has 4-wheel drive and it is good for off and on road driving. The car itself drives really smooth and is very reliable. I have never had any issues or had to worry about this car breaking down. The most negative aspect of the Compass is that it can be noisy when driving on the freeway. It is definitely loud inside the car from road noises but not loud enough to overpower the radi... (more)
Story
The funnest thing I have done in my Jeep Compass was going into the woods. My husband and I decided to go for a drive during the rainy season. There were a lot of roads that were really muddy but this car was able to handle it. This was fun because we didn't get stuck but were still able to enjoy the mud.
Pros
The greatest thing about this car is the interior. It has leather seats and the front seats are heated. I like this feature because when it is really cold in the winter it is nice to be able to sit on something warm. I also really like how large the truck is. Having a large storage area for groceries is really great. The seats also fold down and the whole back part of the car becomes a trunk. Cons
There are some negative aspects to the 2007 Jeep Compass. One issue is the backseat is small. I thought it was a decent size until I put a car seat in the middle seat. The seats are so high up that it is difficult to get a child into the seat without bumping their head on the ceiling. The backseat wasn’t designed for a car seat because if you have one installed, you can’t move the front seats back all the way without getting stopped by the car seat.
