I chose the Jeep Cherokee Latitude because I liked the body style and because compared to other four wheel drive vehicles it was priced lower than the other SUV's I compared it to. I also like that it comes in a 4 cylinder engine 9-speed automatic transmission so it is not as bad on gas mileage, but can still pick up and go fast. I also have owned two other jeep models in the past and had a good experience with them. I owned the 2010 Jeep Wrangler and the 2012 Jeep Compass. I was really happy with the package and features my Jeep Latitude included. It included blue tooth and hands free calling. It has a touch screen radio that controls the radio, heating and air and also the blue tooth. My steering wheel also had extra controls there which made it easy to control my radio and dialing o... Story
I am not sure if this is really considered fun but a couple months after buying my brand new Jeep Latitude. My boyfriend was driving it through mud puddles and we ended up stuck in the middle of a huge deep puddle. We had to call for help. My brand new car got flooded with muddy water. I think people who drive jeeps are just tempted to push the limits because they are known to be rugged.

Cons
The Jeep Latitude could use more room for the backseats. I'm also not happy about the recalls the Jeep Latitude has as well as the recalls on the Jeep Compass.

The Jeep Cherokee Latitude is a great SUV. It is smaller, and lower profile than the Grand Cherokee model, which makes it much better for driving in the city, but it is also durable and great for trips to the mountains for skiing.
Story
We took it to Whistler to ski and it fit all of our equipment well. It rode very smooth the whole trip and did well in both rain, snow, and icy climates along the way.
Pros
The body shape is sleeker than the previous year's model and I love the blacked out rims that are included in the 2016 package. The touch screen and rearview camera are also much larger than 2015 models which makes it a lot easier to navigate and use while driving.
Cons
It is a little lower than previous models and easy to scrape on curbs.
