1991 Jeep Cherokee - I love my Jeep!
With the older Jeep Cherokee, five speeds one of the only dislikes is that it is not the quietest of rides and conversing with ye mate sometimes a bit difficult or you have to turn up the stereo volume. One of the many things me like about the Jeep is the ease of the 4x4 controls are easy to engage whilst driving and disengage as well. This is UberX brill when it is snowy out. For years I dreamed of owning one, besides the fact me fancy a manual transmission over auto any day. The power and functionality of a Jeep surpasses all. Power , if ye want to feel like a monster on the road, an off-road Jeep is only way to go. Moving a sofa or packing up to go for a campout, the space to sit year mates up to five or drop the back seat down and load up the dogs for a day out.
Story
Driving to the coast with me sister and daughter staying in a condo on the beach in Lincoln City for the weekend to celebrate my daughter's graduation.
Pros
With older Jeeps they are not only a snap to work on, you can find parts almost anywhere as well there are many Jeep communities that have parts for sale or trade and so forth. The money you save on petrol is amazing! Went from spending 40 a week with my previous SUV to 20 a week with me Jeep. Another big pro is the Jeep has a body that will take a beaten and keep ye safe.
Cons
Spare wheel is bracketed in the boot and takes up a lot of room, as well trying to find the wheel well bracket that attaches the wheel to the bracket is a bit difficult if need a new one. The front bucket seats are the biggest con of Jeep, you will have to replace it because it breaks down and than it leans to one side and makes it uncomfortable to sit for long drives.
2000 Jeep Cherokee - Only in a Jeep.
One of the best vehicles I have ever owned. I live on top of a mountain and I have 3 miles of dirt/gravel road to climb everyday and sometimes this is the only vehicle that will do the job. The interior is roomy enough for a 6'5" guy like myself and the straight six engine has got to be the best engine I have ever owned. I have hauled everything from cabinets to lumber to a wood splitter in my Cherokee and It never slows down.
Story
Last winter I had a storm dump over a foot of snow on the ground and the jeep really was great.
Pros
I would say the best thing about my Jeep has to be the four wheel drive. I have driven this up a mountain in 2 feet of snow and It makes it every time. The engine is awesome and the FWD is excellent. I can throw it into 4 wheel drive on the fly which is always great. The engine is really easy to work on and any parts are inexpensive. This drives great both on rugged terrain and when I am on the highway. The engine has plenty of power and it has great weight distribution I always feel safe when I am driving it. I have over 200k on the engine and It has never let me down.
Cons
I would say without the FWD the Jeep slides a bit in the winter. The exterior is not the best to look out and its a bit boxy. The interior is also a bit basic and I can hear some outside noise when I drive it.

2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Loren Berg Chevrolet Newberg
I purchased my Jeep from there and they were absolutely great. My dealer was completely no pressure. Every accommodation I asked for was provided (I was reasonable, of course). They allowed me with no hassles to take in the Jeep for an individual inspection. They also helped me to get financed and consistently check in to see if everything is still ok.
