I have a 1994 Jeep Cherokee. It is white with a little rust on it. It really is an old Betty, if you get my drift.
Story
Going fishing with my dad and helping people get their cars out of the mud.
Pros
I do love the fact that though it does have it's problems, it has been pretty easy to maintain, and I feel safe in it. It really gets me from point A to B.
Cons
I have to say it was one of the worst things I could of every have gotten. It has a lot of wiring problems. Though parts are kind of cheap, I have to replace parts more then I use the car.

My Jeep was fun to drive, it had four wheel drive transmission so it maneuvered curbs and difficult spots easily. Even though, it was an SUV it had great gas mileage. My Jeep got about 25 miles to the gallon. The car was very reliable and I did not experience many mechanical issues. When I did have a repair issue usually it was a simple problem that I could repair myself. I felt more confident driving the Jeep because it was a larger vehicle and with a collision in mind I felt like I would be better off than with a smaller vehicle. When I first bought the jeep, I was not a fan of its overall look but after owing it for about 7 years my views have changed. I like the look unique look of the Jeep now. The Jeep has about the same amount of free space as the average car so no real advanta... (more)
Story
Well, I have one memory of when it needed a repair. I was driving down the street (Ponce de Leon for those in GA.) and people were pointing at my car. I realized at that moment when people are pointing at your car it's never a good thing. I was able to see a spout of water shooting out the side. So, I was able to put water it in the radiator and drive it to a repair shop. When I got to the sho... (more)
Pros
The Jeep had great gas mileage. It was easy to repair. The replacement parts were inexpensive. The engine had good horsepower and get up. My Jeep was Reliable and needed few repairs.
Cons
If I could change anything, I would create additional space for storage in the Jeep. The four wheel drive ended up being the problem that caused me to have to let it go. It has a trans-axle that needed care. I was unaware of this part and after 7 years of no attention it busted. If I owed another Jeep I would buy one without four wheel drive.
