Super happy with the Jaguar XKR; it is one of the nicest grand touring cars I've ever driven (and I've driven a lot). Designed by Ian Callum, it is hard to find a better looking car, and the performance is exceptional. The supercharged 5.0l throws you back in the seat with plenty of power on tap. Very comfortable interior invites you to long road trips in great comfort.
Story
My first long trip with it was a day trip from Austin to Dallas and back the next day for a work event shortly after I purchased it. Normally, I don't like long road trips, but with the comfortable interior and adaptive cruise control, it made the trip a breeze.
Pros
Pros are definitely the performance and styling, and thus far, it has been exceptionally reliable with no issues in the first year at all.
Cons
The cost of having 510 horsepower is definitely the fuel consumption; highway mileage is usually just below 20, but when getting on it a lot or doing lots of city driving, it drops substantially. Insurance is not cheap either, but both of these are to be expected.
