1990 Jaguar XJ Owner Ratings & Reviews

1990 Jaguar XJ - Comfortable but hard to maintain.
This Jaguar is an old car with many miles, but it is still nice to drive. It needs a paint job and a differential oil change. The upholstery needs mending, anything made of plastic is breaking, and some decorative hardware has fallen off. Some special tools are needed to maintain this car that the average mechanic may not possess, costing extra money to fix. After all of these years there are still some positives to driving the Jaguar. The ride is smooth, quiet and comfortable. The interior is clean and mostly undamaged. It has a sport mode feature which allows the car to use more gas to accelerate faster.
Story
My children and I regularly like to drive to the park that is a bit too far away to walk to.
Pros
It is still a very powerful car despite being almost 30 years old. The interior is nice, and the car is very pleasant to drive.
Cons
This 1990 Jaguar XJ just costs too much to maintain. It requires premium gasoline and special tools to fix. The gas mileage is terrible; it seems to only get about 12 miles to the gallon.
