The Jaguar XJ has been one of my dream cars for a long time now! I was finally able to get one used with under 30,000 miles. Jaguar has always made a fine line of cars, and is without a doubt top notch in quality and in performance. Honestly, I already knew how well made this car was before I purchased it, but when I finally got behind the steering wheel of this beauty and took it for a spin it blew me away. Jaguar is actually an imported line of automotive cars, they are handmade in England, and imported to the United States accordingly. The car drives exceptionally smooth, and it almost feels as if you are floating on air when you are driving it. Also, the leather seats inside this car are made with exceptional quality. A fun, memorable story that I have was when my family and I took this car to Florida for the weekend to visit family and go to the beach.
Pros
Some pros for this vehicle include stunning style, great performance, exceptional reliability, the car is made with exceptional thick leather seats. Also this car has excellent safety features.
Cons
Some cons about this vehicle are that the gas mileage is not the best for this car, but it is a rather large sedan so you have to put that in comparison with the gas mileage. Another major con is that if anything goes wrong with this car it can be rather pricey to fix.

My 1998 Jaguar XJ8 has withstood the test of time with grace and strength. The ride is extremely smooth and the handling exceptional. The interior and exterior are still in excellent condition. This car was designed so that both the driver and the passengers experience comfort and luxury. This is the perfect car for road trips, it's spacious, comfortable and fun to drive. I am a Realtor, and this car is the perfect vehicle for driving clients to see listings.

I recently drove several friends to Las Vegas in my Jaguar XJ8, and we had a great time! Everyone had enough leg room, the stereo sounded great, the climate control was perfect, and the ride was very smooth. At every stop along the way, people admired the car. Pros
The automatic transmission glides through its paces, creating an exceptionally smooth driving experience. The vehicle is well balanced, and a joy to drive. The sound system performs remarkably well and compares favorably to a high end home system. The interior appointments include genuine burled walnut panels and a plethora of storage compartments. Climate controls can be set to maintain an exact temperature inside the cabin. The trunk is ample, and features a valet parking lock, so that a valet can drive the vehicle without having access to the trunk.
Cons
It is a full sized car, so some parking spaces may not be appropriate. The leather interior needs special care. Avoid spilling liquids inside! The gas mileage is about average for a full size sedan, I am getting about 23 MPG on average. Repairs are becoming difficult, as the model is no longer in production. We are having to source rebuilt parts rather than new for most repairs going forward.

Beautiful eye catcher and very smooth ride is what you get with this car. The interior leather seats are second to none and the factory sound system is beyond its time. You cant help love falling in love with the sleek smooth sexy body style and shinny chrome trim all over the car. The engine on the xj6 is basically bullet proof however the electrical system along with the break hydraulics are very complex and can cost a small fortune to repair. Yes repair is the operative word for this car because it has many quirks and needs servicing often through out the year. My average repair bill each year is three times what a normal car would be. With that said you will love fall in love with the xj6. Forget about doing your own repairs because the car is very complex
