2005 Hyundai Tucson - Good car but some issues
My wife is the one who actually picked this car for her to be drive to work. It has a 4 cylinder engine but had enough power for us. Overall build quality is solid, at least initially. Good dependable car while it was newer. Love the way it handles and drives and that it sits up higher for good visibility.
Story
When we first got the car myself, my wife, my Mother in law and a friend of mine were talking about it. My friend said that we should have gotten the V-6 model for more power. I said the 4 gets better gas mileage ( was supposed to anyway) and we don't need the extra power. He said you may have to push it up hills. Pros
Good solid midsize SUV with enough room for luggage and all your stuff on long trips. Handles very well on curvy roads with sharp turns. Lower initial cost to buy than a lot of other models. Comfortable to drive for long trips.
Cons
One big one is the fuel mileage never meets expectations. This car gets 23 MPG no matter where or how it is driven, freeway or city. Disappointing considering it was supposed to get 30 hwy. As this car has gotten older it has had some repair issues and been a considerable expense.

I love the size of the Hyundai Tucson. It's a great family car! I love that it has a back-up camera. It has a very generous screen size. It is Bluetooth compatible.
Story
One of my best experiences with this car is when we drove to the Grand Canyon and then went to Flagstaff afterwards. Another fun time was when we drove to Cottonwood, AZ, for vacation. Very good car.
Pros
