Our car is what I would call "practical". We have had some problems with it, including one that had nothing to do with the car itself--mice got in and chewed some wires. When we first got it, used, it seemed a nice step up, but yet affordable. We wanted a car that would be good in the snow in Wisconsin, haul the groceries, fit our grandchildren, but not be so large as to eat up a lot in gas. I would not call the car stylish or even fun. It is a very common car in this area, in a common color, a sort of reddish brownish, not a color that I generally like. The seats are comfortable and we do have one nice thing, a sun roof, and the sound system is pretty nice.
Story
My husband was in an accident with the car. He did not get hurt but the car sure did. This is not exactly a fun story, but I guess I was glad he was in a larger truck based vehicle, which kept him safe.
Pros
If you are looking for a middle of the road car, price wise, this car seems to offer a decent car for the price. There is nothing fancy about it, it is just that okay everyday hauler, that will get you where you want to go. It does have a nice sunroof and plenty of space, and the seats do fold down in the back.
Cons
It is a car that really doesn't make you all that proud--it is very ordinary. We had had to put in brakes, and make some other repairs, which have been costly but not too horrible. Right now the worst thing is that there is some sort of rattle or noise, and that is annoying. It seems to be coming from the top of the car.

We purchased a Hyundai Tucson as our third vehicle to be driven by our teen child. We liked that it was small in size yet seemed safer than a little car. The cargo capacity is great. We can fit quite a lot of stuff in the back - whether it be groceries, the baby's stroller, or picnic and beach accessories. The Hyundai is very responsive to the driver. It accelerates well and handles great on the highway as well as in town. The black plastic type trim around the sides of the car is a nice touch - as our teen already scraped up alongside one of our other vehicles. Other than a little bit of paint rubbing off, there was no damage to either vehicle. The interior is nice but not fancy.
