This was actually my husband's vehicle and now it is my day-to-day work vehicle. It is reliable and quiet. I appreciate the lift hatch with the option to just lift the window. My initial experience with this car was using the window lift. Unbeknownst to me, the window shocks loose pressure over time and the window came down and hit me hard in the head. Ever since then, the car and I are at odds with each other! It performs the job and that is the most I can say to its credit.
Story
My husband (late) and I used to take weekend trips and it was fun to have air-conditioning and reliability again after switching from our old vehicle. I miss our trips together.
Pros
While this is the smallest car I have ever driven, the fact that it rides higher helps me feel more secure. I don't feel scared like I do in some cars of the same interior space. I also feel it helps me be SEEN by other vehicles.
Cons
Even though this is a smaller vehicle, the gas mileage is surprisingly low at 20 miles per gallon. The stereo has minimal output. The heat/AC system puts out heat even when it is turned off causing feet to roast on a beautiful fall day with the windows down.

2006 Hyundai Tucson - Unhappy and dissatisfied.

Last fall everything went wrong with this vehicle. Despite careful, timely upkeep, it required over $2,000 in repairs. The differential required replacement, the timing belt required replacement and several other strange items needed replacement under the hood. These are items I had never had to replace on all the cars I previously owned. Not only does it feel cheap to drive, it has no lasting power under normal driving conditions.
Story
We went to the local fireworks display and sat in the back hatch area and watched in comfort.
Pros
The car is surprisingly spacious for its size, and it rides higher, so a driver doesn't feel like they are the smallest, weakest car on the road. This factor makes it easier to get in and our for older people.
Cons
Besides the cost to maintain, this car has no pick up and substandard miles per hour regarding gas usage for its size.
