The vehicle is very sturdy. I have had it for 3 years and have had very few minor issues. The car is sharp looking and has a variety of features. The best part of this vehicle in my opinion is the value. Compared to other cars of similar size (Honda CRV, etc) this car was significantly less and significantly nicer. The leather seats are of very high quality and the leather steering wheel and gear change are nice touches. The adjustable seats are very comfortable and offer a lot of lumbar support. There is a huge amount of storage space and the back seats fold down, but it is much smaller than many of the SUVs on the market which are unnecessarily large. The car handles very well and has a shockingly tight turning radius which makes it extremely maneuverable for being an SUV. There is g... (more)
Story
I'm always happy to be able to park in a local town that offers tight parallel parking on hills because this vehicle maneuvers so easily.
Pros
The most positive thing about this car was the price. The value was incredible compared to other small SUVs of similar brands including Honda, Toyota, and Mazda. The warranty is also something that competitors cannot match. I also like the convenience of this car's conductibility. It offers Bluetooth with steering wheel controls, as well as a cigarette lighter and USB port in the front central console for charging devices. The seats are extremely comfortable and highly adjustable. The car heats and cools quickly, also making for a comfortable experience. The sound system is quite good and ... (more)
Cons
The Hyundai Tucson really has few negatives in my experience. I wish the vehicle had an automatic starter for the wintertime, but I was able to add a third party automatic starter at a low cost to solve this problem. This car also does not have keyless entry where you can touch the car handle to enter the vehicle - you have to push the button on the key ring to unlock the car. This car also does not have a backup camera or lights on your mirrors which signal you that someone is in the lane next to you. This is included in newer models, however. The windshield wipers which come standard on ... (more)

This car has been a great commuter for in town/city driving and great on the open road and into the mountains! I am 6'4 and have a ton of leg and head space to drive long distances VERY comfortably! Tiptronic transmission to be able to shift through your gears manually if you want. Select Eco Mode for insanely awesome gas mileage which makes for a great city commuter. Take it out of Eco Mode and onto the open road with push button traction control, push button 4WD, and super sharp turning radius, and don't forget the heated leather seats! The Tucson is perfect for anywhere you need to go no matter what terrain leads you there.
Story
I live in Denver and go to a lot of shows at Red Rocks. My car has turned into the hang out car before the show because the STOCK radio sounds so good and anyone of my friends can connect to the Bluetooth and play whatever they're feeling. Although the trunk is small there is still plenty of room to pack a cooler and you can fit a pretty big one! It makes me feel so proud and happy that I can ... (more)
Pros
Some of my favorite aspects of the car are the tiptronic transmission with no rev limiter, heated leather seats, sunroof, spacious seating in the front and back, it's very sporty looking, handles like a small car so cornering is exceptional (as is parking), it has ground clearance and 4wd so it is great in the winter, it doesn't have any bad blind spots, in-dash Bluetooth and satellite radio, great gas mileage (Eco Mode).
Cons
A few things I don't like are: it has noticeably less power when switched into Eco Mode, the trunk is very small (one jeep stroller and the whole trunk is full), no vents in the back seat for passengers so A/C and heat are not as effective as quickly.
