2013 Hyundai Sonata - Exceptional
The car performs very well on the highway. It drives smooth and has an eco button to get better gas mileage. On the highways I get 44 miles to a gallon. It has a nice design, good handling, and brakes smoothly. Can fit big things in the back of the trunk and long things, like rakes and shovels, with the seat down. Good radio system, has built in on call for assistant. The only thing I would prefer to have was a sun roof.
Story
Going up the mountain, I wanted to test the cars handling abilities going through different turns and corner. My kids where in the back eating Ice cream in the back enjoying the ride and going through the different turns.
Pros
The radio is easy to navigate through, and the A/C blows very cold which was a plus for me. Better A/C than any other vehicle I have owned. Eco system for better gas mileage, drives smooth on the highway, big trunk able to make one trip to the store because of the trunk space, on call system, can navigate radio through the steering wheel, good braking system.
Cons
The only con that I can think of is that I don't have a sun roof. All other cars I owned had a sun roof.
2005 Hyundai Sonata - I have owned five of these cars and will keep buying them!
My current Hyundai is the 5th of this make/model that I have owned. I keep going back because the reliability and life span of these vehicles is second to none. If you keep up with the regular maintenance it is not uncommon for these cars to pass 300,000 miles and still be a pleasure to drive. They are simple and elegant at the same time, and the warranty is second to none.
Story
I would regularly drive this car from NYC to Delaware at high speeds. It handles very well, is quiet, and the polytronic transmission is a blast to mess around with.
Pros
The warranty is amazing. Most repairs are covered, and if you keep up with the regular oil changes and maintenance the car will last forever. The car is a four cylinder that rides like a six. The car has a really great pick up and handles well at high speeds. The LX comes with a great wood grain interior and standard CD player. The maintenance package is affordable and quick.
Cons
Tires and wheels can be a bit expensive if you are buying them new. Fuel pump inside the gas take can be costly, but is sometimes covered.
