I like that the sonata has some stylish curves to it. It is a family car that also looks pretty sporty. I also love that I can choose if I want the car to be performance driven or eco driven with the eco boost button. It has a lot of options inside and is reasonably priced. This is the first foreign car I have ever owned and I have to say that I am really impressed by the quality and construction.
Story
We recently relocated from North Carolina to Las Vegas. 6 Days, 3 kids, 2 dogs, 2 cars. Everybody wanted to ride in the Sonata. The most fun though was the drive from Flagstaff to the Grand Canyon!
Pros
I love the gas mileage that I get on the highway with this car. I have gotten up to 40mpg with it. Now that I have moved to a densely populated area I do not get anywhere near that gas mileage but that is to be expected. I like the bigger tires on the Sonata as it gives it some extra stability and handling control. It also has a lot more leg room and head room than I expected!
Cons
I absolutely hate the Bluetooth stereo in this car. I am saving up right now for an aftermarket kit because the one in this car frustrates me so much. Sometimes it will not connect to my phone and the only way to get it to connect is to actually turn the car off and back on again. If I get out of the car it will not reconnect automatically when I get back in. The volume on the speakers for phone calls is dismal, and I feel like I have to yell to be heard when I use it. My former car had Microsoft Sync and it makes Hyundai feel like a toddler toy phone!

We really enjoy this vehicle. It is sleek looking and comes with all the bells and whistles and the price isn't as bad as other vehicles in this category. It's a smooth ride with great handling. Even though it's a 4 cylinder, it has speed to it. It also has a spacious trunk that can fit a lot of groceries.
Story
It's roomy enough that we were able to "break it in"
